I’m a marketing manager in the Early Years team. At a top level, I’m responsible for our marketing strategy to Private Day Nurseries. My day-to-day responsibilities vary greatly from laying out catalogues and organising mailing campaigns, to attending exhibitions and meeting Early Years practitioners.
It’s great that there’s true variety in my role. There are many different aspects to the job that keep things fresh and interesting. Also, we have a very strong team bond. We’re always there for each other and pulling in the same direction.
The culture as a whole is really good. TTS as an organisation have very strong values and put people first, which makes working here fun. It’s good to feel that the work you’re doing is making a genuine difference to children’s lives. I’ve loved coming to work every day since being at TTS.
The products can be fun too. My favourite is Mini Mobile Phones – such a simple product but a great example of how ICT should be used in Early Years. I’ve never seen a child fail to be engaged by this product, and it’s such a great tool for getting children communicating.
TTS is an organisation that genuinely wants to make a difference to children’s lives. We have a vibrant, creative, knowledgeable group of people who are passionate about education, and the culture thrives on creativity.
I started in the New Product Development team before moving across to the marketing team as a Senior Product Manager for Early Years. I’ve just started in my new role as Marketing Manager. The onus will always be on the individual to drive their career but TTS have given me so much assistance with a mixture of on-the-job learning and formal training.
