As well as a competitive salary, you could earn a performance related bonus and you would receive our core benefits package which includes private medical healthcare, life assurance and a Group Personal Pension Plan with higher contribution levels available.
There are lots of voluntary benefits too. You could buy additional annual leave, join our dental plan, sign up for a health assessment or take part in our cycle to work scheme. You could even earn yourself an extra bonus for successfully recommending a friend or family member for a position within RM.
RM is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all permanent and temporary staff to share this commitment. Our adverts state whether a role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 in which case all successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks along with other relevant employment checks.
Each year we run a company survey to collect every employee's view on every aspect of our organisation. But it's not just about listening; we use the results to make working life better for everyone.
With such a diverse range of products, services, brands and customers, it's only natural that we look for the same mix of skills and backgrounds in our people. We've made it our policy to give everyone equal opportunity in employment and development. It’s irrespective of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation. We’re committed to making reasonable adjustments within the workplace to make things easier for employees with disabilities
Your development couldn’t be more important to us. The work can be pretty challenging so we want to make sure you have the support and skills to succeed.
There is a strong focus on empowering individuals to take ownership and drive their own development. Our approach is to ensure that the highest percentage of development, up to 70%, comes through experience of doing your job. Social learning through colleagues and more formalised interventions, such as courses, make up the rest.
Our L&D ranges from short bite-sized workshops to traditional courses with an online offer too. Management and Leadership development is carried out in conjunction with Cranfield University. Training courses cover management skills, personal development, technical training and specialist development.
