I chose to work at RM as the purpose of the organisation spoke to me and the culture kept me. It sounds like a cliché but for me, what makes RM special is the people. The teams genuinely all have the same goal at the heart of what they do which makes it a great working environment.  

I started in RM on the Graduate Training Scheme in a technical role supporting Primary Schools using RM Window box, before progressing into Network Support supporting the various iterations of Community Connect.  From there I moved into Project Management and then Programme Management predominantly for RM’s Managed Service business.  More recently I have been Head of Projects for Technology and I am now Head of Implementation and Consultancy Services.  I have been lucky to have been provided challenges at all stages of my RM Career. 

There have been a lot of favourite moments over the years, it is hard to pick something out.  When you are in a delivery role, the train always keeps rolling and you must have a focus on ensuring you deliver for the customer and what comes next.  Some of my favourite moments have been when I have taken a step back and revisited the end results, sitting in a classroom seeing the difference of what we have delivered is making to the education of children… That is what it is ultimately about.
