I joined RM in 2017 as a temp prospector, responsible for identifying new opportunities for the Field Sales team. Less than four months in the role I was promoted, and took up responsibility as Business Development Manager within the Services Department.
My role is to build lasting relationships with school senior leaderships teams, helping them develop a strategy and vision for the delivery of ICT within their Schools. Ultimately responsible for ICT Support Services, I get to talk about everything from infrastructure, networking, connectivity and cloud services. Meaning, I get involved with large ICT projects for Schools and Multi Academy Trusts.
In addition to this, RM has also allowed me to embrace other strengths. I have owned the sales driven marketing strategy for my team, working in collaboration with the companies various functions to collaborate on the creation and execution of engaging and compelling customer journeys.
What I enjoy about working at RM Education is the ethos behind what we do, delivering service and product that makes a difference. Influencing the way schools deliver teaching and learning, preparing children for the future. I also like that we are disrupting and changing thought processes within Schools and giving them a vision of how it could be rather than how it should be. We are helping them to break away from the norm and fear of embracing something new.
As well as working, I am a Mum to two little girls. Balancing life and work can be challenging especially when you are working full time. RM have always been very supportive, allowing me to work remotely when necessary to help find that work life balance.
